The CELPIP Speaking test is one of the four subtests that make up the CELPIP General test, which is administered to non-native English speakers in order to determine their level of English language ability. The Speaking section of the exam examines the candidate’s ability to use daily English conversational skills during the exam.

The Speaking section of the test comprises eight different activities, each of which is intended to evaluate a different aspect of a candidate’s speaking ability. It is also very important to understand Is Speaking Test Difficult? These aspects include pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and coherence. The examination is given in the form of a one-on-one interview with a CELPIP Speaking rater who has received training.

The following is a list of the eight tasks that are included in the CELPIP Speaking test:

  1. Giving Advice: You Will Be Asked To Give It is likely that you may be requested to offer counsel to a friend or coworker.
  2. Talking about a Personal Experience: You will be tasked with discussing a personal experience or incident you have had.
  3. Describing a Scene: You will be shown a photograph and asked to explain what is going on in the scene from the viewer’s perspective.
  4. Making Predictions: You Will Be Asked To Make Forecasts About Future Events Or Situations You Will Be Asked To Make Predictions About Future Events Or Situations.
  5. Comparing and Persuading: You will be asked to compare two different items, and then you will have to convince the audience that one of those things is superior to the other.
  6. Stating Preferences: You will be prompted to discuss the things that appeal to you and those that turn you off.
  7. Describing an Unusual Situation: You will be presented with a scenario, and we will ask you to describe how you would approach the situation. This is not a typical test question.
  8. Expressing Opinions: You will be requested to voice your opinion on a subject after it has been presented.

    You will have limited time to complete each assignment, and the timer will keep ticking. Your responses will be recorded, and qualified CELPIP Speaking raters will look over them.

    The CELPIP Speaking test can be completed in roughly 15–20 minutes. During this period, you will complete eight different activities to evaluate your capacity for effective communication in English. Your performance on each job will be timed, and you will have a predetermined amount of time (about two minutes) to react. The Speaking assessment is delivered as a one-on-one interview with a CELPIP Speaking rater who has received training.
